WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Grace's women's tennis team is pleased to announce the signing of Jayna Armstrong for the 2018-19 season.
Armstrong, wrapping up her senior year at Noblesville High School, is currently ranked No. 20 in Central Indiana by the United States Tennis Association. She has won a number of tournaments, including the Angola USTA title for mixed doubles in 2017.
She is also a three-time winner of the Tim Samons High School singles' tournament and won the 2016 YMCA (Muncie) 18 and under doubles' championship.
"I love the small-school, Christian atmosphere at Grace. I feel like I can really grow in my faith here," Armstrong said. "The minute I walked onto Grace's campus, I knew it was going to be my new home."
Armstrong, who is the daughter of Steven and Laura Armstrong, is set to graduate with academic honors. She plans to study health sciences and physical therapy at Grace.
"Jayna will be a tremendous addition to our program and campus," said Grace head coach Marcus Moore. "She is a kind-hearted young lady who is a fierce competitor. She has a love for Jesus that will impact our campus, and I believe she will have a tremendous career for the Lady Lancers. We are very pleased to have her."
