WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Grace's women's tennis team has added its second Mast sister to the roster.
Head coach Marcus Moore is pleased to announce the signing of Morgan Mast for the upcoming season. Mast is a standout player from Fairfield High School.
Her sister Emily was Grace's No. 1 singles player for Grace in the fall, earning All-Crossroads League recognition.
"I chose Grace because of the beautiful campus, and I'm very excited about the education program," Mast said. "I am most excited to play with my new teammates and and grow in my game with others who have similar goals as me. I'm ready to play with Emily again as she is always encouraging and believes in me."
Mast was a perfect 25-0 as a sophomore at No. 2 singles while playing with Emily. She assumed the No. 1 singles spot upon Emily's graduation and never looked back.
As a junior, Mast posted a 21-3 record and was honorable mention All-State for the second time in her career. She also earned All-District recognition.
"We are very excited to have Morgan join our tennis family," Moore said. "She's obviously an outstanding tennis player. But more importantly, she brings a positive energy that is contagious. She will be a great fit for our program, and we can't wait to get her on campus!"
Mast, who plans to study elementary education, is from Goshen, Ind.
