FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Grace's men's tennis team lost its early advantage en route to a 4-3 defeat at Indiana Tech on Thursday.
The Lancers (4-1) were beaten for the first time this season.
Grace earned pulled ahead after winning doubles' play. Pavle Popovic and Milan Savic won 6-1 at No. 1 doubles, and Max Rozas and Fabricio Galvan won 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
But Grace's advantage was eventually erased as the Warriors (2-0) battled back to win four singles' matches.
Rozas rallied after losing his first set at No. 1 singles to win 4-6, 7-5, 6-0. Popovic also won 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2 singles, but that proved to be Grace's only singles' victories.
The Lancers resume Crossroads League play on Saturday with a match at Mt. Vernon Nazarene.
