WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Grace's men's tennis team will enter the Crossroads League Tournament with momentum after blanking Trine 7-0 on Monday.
The Lancers (9-1) are winners of three straight matches. Grace finished as the runner-up in the regular season for the Crossroads League and will host No. 7 seed Bethel on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
With a win on Tuesday, Grace would host the semifinals on Thursday. The championship is scheduled for Saturday to be played at the highest remaining seed.
Fabricio Galvan, Ivan Antinori and Nicolas Graber were all involved in two points for Grace on Monday.
Galvan and Antinori won 6-2 at No. 1 doubles, and Graber teamed up with Max Rozas to win 6-3 at No. 3 doubles. Graber battled to a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles, Galvan was almost perfect (6-1, 6-0) at No. 1 singles, and Antinori cruised 6-2, 6-1 at No. 4.
Jacob Gray and Ramiro Candia completed the doubles' sweep by winning 6-2 at No. 2.
Mauricio Corty picked up a straight set win at No. 2 singles, and Kye Barrett (No. 3) and Milan Savic (No. 6) also won in singles' play.
