WARSAW, Ind. – The No. 22 Grace men's tennis team battled top-10 ranked Northwestern Ohio on Saturday morning, falling 4-1 at the Warsaw Racquet Club.
The No. 8 Racers struck first by taking two of the doubles' matches 6-4. Facundo Paredes and Ivan Antinori won their match at No. 2 doubles for Grace 6-4, but the team point would go to UNOH.
Paredes made quick work in his No. 1 singles' match, taking the point in straight sets 6-2, 6-2 to draw even at one apiece.
That was all the Lancers could muster as UNOH took the next three singles' matches to secure the victory.
David Sandi and Ramiro Candia battled hard at No. 2 and No. 4 singles, needing a third set to determine a winner. However, the Racers were able to grind out both points 4-6, 6-4, 19-17 and 6-2, 4-6, 10-7 respectively.
