WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Facundo Paredes was named Crossroads League Player of the Week for Grace's men's tennis team on Monday. 

The junior from Villa Maria, Argentina, was instrumental in helping the Lancers clinch the conference regular season title on the final day of league play. It was the first regular season title since the 2013-14 season for Grace.

Paredes went 4-0 in singles and 4-0 in doubles on the week. In eight combined matches, no opponent scored more than four games against him. He won all four singles' matches in straight sets. He partnered at No. 1 doubles with Ivan Antinori to sweep those as well, helping earn the team point in each match.

Two of the matches last week were against top-25 opponents. The first triumph was against No. 25 Marian to clinch the league title and the second was against No. 19 Cardinal Stritch to close out the week.

The Lancers will begin the league tournament on September 20, at Miller Athletic Complex, starting at 3 p.m.
