WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Leah Emch of Grace's cross country team collected a national honor on Monday.

Emch was named the NCCAA National Runner of the Week after leading the Lancers.

She ran a time of 18:10.6, earning 12th place individually in the high-end NAIA Great Lakes Challenge. She was Grace's top finisher as the Lancers placed fourth, finishing only behind a trio of teams ranked in the top five of the NAIA.

The Lancers are now shifting into postseason gear, beginning with the Crossroads League Championships on Nov. 6 in Upland, Ind.
