MARION, Ind. - For the fourth year in a row, Grace's men's tennis team is standing atop the Crossroads League.
The Lancers claimed the 2026 Crossroads League Tournament championship for the fourth straight time, upsetting top-seeded Huntington 4-2 on Saturday.
The championship match spanned two days as weather on Friday extended the title bout into the weekend.
Grace secured the doubles' point on Friday. Aurelien Coan and Stergios Papadopoulos won 6-2 at No. 2 doubles, and Manuel Marques and Andreas Polichronopoulos won 6-3 at No. 3 to wrap up the doubles' point.
Grace's momentum carried into Saturday against No. 10 Huntington.
The Foresters evened the match with a win at No. 3 singles, and they also picked up a two-set win at No. 5.
The Lancers responded with a 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 4 singles thanks to Manuel Marques.
Benjamin Rahine was a 6-4, 6-3 victor at No. 2 singles, putting the Lancers on the brink of a championship.
Mahefa Rakotomalala made good on his moment, producing a hard-fought 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 6. Grace's team spilled onto his court, tackling Rakotomalala in euphoric celebration.
The Lancers now own the league's automatic bid to the 2026 NAIA National Championships. The national tournament is held May 12-16 in Mobile, Ala.
