WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Jimena Ramirez earned a major honor this week for Grace's women's tennis team.
Ramirez was named the Crossroads League Player of the Year following a sensational senior campaign.
She posted a 32-12 record for the year, including 17-5 in singles and 15-7 in doubles. She was dominant in the league season, going undefeated at No. 1 singles during Crossroads League play. Overall for the league season, she amassed a 17-1 record.
Ramirez, a two-time NAIA All-American for Grace, will finish her career as arguably the greatest women's tennis player in team history.
She posted 94 wins over her career, marking the most wins in team history. She boasts 46 singles' wins and 48 doubles' wins, both the second-most by a Lancer.
Ramirez won 79 percent of her matches overall, the second-best winning percentage in program history.
