BOYNE MOUNTAIN, Mich. - Grace College's men's golf team kicked off their season at the Lawrence Tech Collegiate Kickoff.
The Lancers took third-place in the nine-team field after the 54-hole tournament concluded on Wednesday afternoon.
Grace posted the lowest score of the second round with a mark of 303. The Lancers posted scores of 310-303-312.
Max Seachrist paced Grace and laid claim to a top-five finish. Seachrist carded the third lowest single round mark of the tournament with a score of 72 in round two. He finished with a total of 226.
Noah Riffle was four strokes behind at 230. He improved in every round shooting 79-77-74 to tie for 12th.
Ben Giere was next in line for Grace with a three round total of 238
Charlie Jones and
Corbin O'Hara were separated by just two strokes. Jones shot 239 while O'Hare came in at 241.
The Lancers will be back in action on September 21 when they host the Battle at Stonehenge.
