Â
Athletics are an important part of the Grace College experience. Our team culture provides an opportunity for our students to develop in personal discipline, sacrifice and service. They grow spiritually both on and off the field of competition under the discipleship of a world-class staff of coaches.
Today, one quarter of traditional Grace College students participate in Grace's athletic programs. In order to expand our athletic programs, attract new students and extend the recognition of our unique institution and values, we must invest in our athletic facilities.
As part of this campaign, Grace has already renovated its soccer stadium to include new team dugouts, state-of-the-art lighting, a new scoreboard and an enclosed press box. The stadium has been a significant upgrade to our Miller Athletic Complex.
Our next project is a new 400-meter track and field complex. Grace has a history of a successful track program, yet no track. The addition will allow us to immediately attract more talented track athletes and host meets on our campus.
Â
The Bernard & Linnie Key Track and Field Complex is a state-of-the-art design that features a 9-lane 400-meter competition track with steeplechase lane. The complex will include fully automatic timing systems, modern synthetic surface for faster speeds, discus and hammer throw cages, high jump zone and pole vaulting facilities, long jump pits, javelin throw and shot put event areas, grandstand seating for 400 and a press box. The entire complex will be completed in multiple phases.
