Randy Sterk begins his fourth season in 2016-17 assisting Grace's cross country and track and field teams.
Sterk was a standout runner for the Lancers before graduating in 2012. He qualified for both the indoor and outdoor NAIA National Championships as a senior. A strong runner, Sterk earned All-Conference honors in both cross country and track during his final year and was the MCC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week twice.
He earned All-American status from the NCCAA for his part in the 4x800-meter team as a senior and even broke the school's mile record.
Academically, Sterk was named to the Second Team CoSIDA Academic All-America and was a two-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete.
