Grant Cook is beginning his fourth year in Grace's athletic communications office in 2025-26. He was hired as the school's first Assistant Sports Information Director in 2024 after serving for two years as a graduate assistant. Cook is no stranger to Grace College Athletics, serving as a student worker in Grace's sports information office for four years during his undergrad career.

He serves as the primary SID contact for several sports for the Lancers and is the lead for all of Grace's livestreaming efforts.

He has helped spearhead Grace’s videostreaming, culminating with the successful launch of the Grace Sports Network in 2023. Grace’s student-run broadcasts have transformed from largely single-camera operations to multi-camera broadcasts, including custom graphics, instant replay and official video replay (OVR) capabilities.

Cook has earned numerous national awards already during his young career. He has placed in the top-10 of the NAIA in several categories, including: game highlights, feature videos, call of the year and poster designs. Additionally his work on the website has helped www.gclancers.com rank in the top-10 of the NAIA throughout his time at Grace. In 2024 he helped Grace's SID office claim the prestigious NAIA Gary Spitler Award for overall excellence in publications, written work, videos and design. Grace led the nation with 19 national awards from the NAIA-SIDA.

In 2025, Grace repeated as the NAIA Gary Spitler Award recipients thanks to Cook's work. He won "Best in the Nation" for his season preview article on Grace's women's basketball team.

He also helped Grace nab the 2023-24 Crossroads League SID of the Year honor.

After graduation, he was awarded CoSIDA's Wylie Smith Scholarship, given to one postgraduate student in the U.S. each year.

Beyond his work at Grace, Cook served as a statistician at numerous schools, including NCAA Div. I Chicago State, IU Kokomo and Goshen as well as serving as a statistician for Cornerstone during the 2021 NAIA Volleyball National Tournament Opening Round. He also worked in the summer for the Fort Wayne TinCaps, assisting with the minor league club's broadcast efforts.

Cook graduated from Grace in 2022 with a degree in sport management; he was chosen as the Sport Management Student of the Year as a senior.
