The Grace College Athletic Hall of Fame’s mission is to recognize individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the achievement and prestige of Grace College both on and off the field of competition.

The individuals or teams to be recognized must have been outstanding athletic performers, coaches or friends whose identification with the athletics program has been unique, and who exemplifies the ideals and standards of Grace College.

  • ATHLETE – An athlete becomes eligible for nomination ten (10) years after completion of his/her intercollegiate eligibility and must have earned two letters in one intercollegiate sport or one letter in two or more intercollegiate sports.
  • MERITORIOUS ACHIEVEMENT – These men and women are honored either by virtue of their performance on athletic teams representing Grace College, or by meritorious efforts in the years after graduation; and/or persons must have, over a period of years, exhibited a dedication and loyalty to the philosophy and ideals of Grace College.
  • TEAM – This team must have been set apart by their achievement, leadership and representation of Grace College.

Each year, names can be submitted for nomination and will be given consideration by the entire Hall of Fame committee. The Hall of Fame committee is comprised of ten representatives and is headed by Athletic Director Chad Briscoe. The inductees are announced in the summer and are formally inducted into the Hall of Fame at a banquet during Homecoming the following fall.

  • Four members are inducted into the Hall each year.
  • Election to the Hall of Fame is by 80% majority vote by the Hall of Fame Committee and final approval from the President.
  • The number of Inductees: 2008 (10 inductees), 2009 (8 inductees), 2010 (6 inductees) and 2011 (4 inductees). After 2011 there will be no more than four inductees each year, three of whom must be athletes that may be selected in any one year.
  • The President and Director of Athletics shall make all final decisions relative to admittance based on the voting of the Hall of Fame Committee.
  • The Hall of Fame Committee will meet once a year to select those who will be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
  • The committee has the right to add to or change any of the criteria which support the integrity of the Hall of Fame.

The Grace College Athletic Hall of Fame was established in 2008. The Ahtletic Department worked in conjunction with the Alumni and Advancement offices to create the prestigious Hall of Fame. The inductees have brought much distinction and honor to Grace College and have established a tradition of Christian excellence which is unparalleled. Their achievements have touched everyone associated with Grace College both in and out of the arena of athletics. From the inception of intercollegiate athletics at Grace to the present, none have better exemplified the true spirit of Christian athletic competition at Grace than these honored players, coaches, administrators and community supporters.
