MISHAWAKA, Ind. – Grace's volleyball team struggled to find its rhythm on Friday night, falling in three sets to Bethel College.
The Lady Lancers were held to a .095 hitting percentage as a team with no player recording more than six kills.
The Pilots (13-10; 7-6 Crossroads League) found their revenge from an earlier loss in the season to the Lady Lancers (15-9; 8-4 CL). Bethel recorded 11 more kills, 9 more assists and 5 more digs to ease past Grace.
Bethel won the first set 25-19 before taking the final two sets by the score of 25-20.
Freshman Alix Underwood recorded six kills on a .333 percentage for Grace, and Dana Johnston had five kills to go along with a solo block and block assist.
Bethany Whitcraft led all players with 11 digs, and Christina LeBlanc tallied 29 assists and six digs.
The Lady Lancers continue league action on Saturday with an away match against Goshen at 3 p.m.
