SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Spring Arbor's women's tennis team proved too much for Grace to handle on Tuesday as the Lady Lancers fell 8-1.

Kristin Cassidy was the lone winner for Grace in their 2013 Crossroads League premiere, claiming a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles.

Mariah Zumbrun nearly added another point for the Lady Lancers at No. 4 singles, forcing a third set against the Cougars. But she after winning the second set, she eventually lost 6-2, 4-6, 12-10 in a thriller.

In doubles play, Jayna Huber and Katie Etter looked the strongest at No. 2 doubles when they slipped 8-4.

The Lady Lancers will continue league play this week with matches against St. Francis and Indiana Wesleyan.
