WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Grace's men's basketball team rode a three-game winning streak right back into the NAIA Top 25, released Tuesday night.
The Lancers (14-4) landed at No. 24 in the Coaches' Poll with 78 voters' points. Grace is the fifth Crossroads League team in the poll, leading all conferences in the nation.
Other league teams in the poll include No. 2 Indiana Wesleyan, No. 5 St. Francis, No. 8 Marian and No. 13 Bethel. Davenport (Mich.) jumped up four spots to claim the No. 1 ranking in the NAIA this week. To see the full poll, click here.
Grace took down then-No. 1 Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday 91-80 in Marion. Brandon Vanderhegghen was named the NAIA and NCCAA National Player of the Week due in part to his heroics during Grace's upset of the Wildcats.
The Lancers currently sit 1.5 games out of first place in the crowded Crossroads League standings. The top eight teams in the CL are separated by just three games.
Grace plays host to Goshen on Wednesday at 8 p.m. before traveling to Mt. Vernon Nazarene on Saturday for a 2 p.m. tipoff.
