WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Grace's women's tennis team was nearly flawless on Thursday in a 9-0 sweep of Manchester.
The Lady Lancers did not drop a set across all nine matchups and combined to only lose two games overall.
Grace's win knotted the all-time record for most wins in a season. With a current record of 11-3, Grace can break the program record for wins on Saturday in the regular season finale at Alma.
In doubles play, Grace had little trouble against the Spartans. Emily Mast and Jenna Jackson won 8-1 at No. 1 doubles. Molly Fitzpatrick and Carrie Copeland (No. 2 doubles) and Morgan Mast and Shelby Bankson (No. 3 doubles) were perfect 8-0.
Across the six doubles' courts, Grace only lost one game. Shelby Bankson won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 6 singles. Every other player for Grace won 6-0, 6-0.
