UPLAND, Ind. - Grace's baseball team was unable to pick up a win against No. 22 Taylor, losing three games of the series.
The Lancers, who have yet to play at home this season, fell in a single game on Thursday 15-5 and in a doubleheader 10-2 and 9-3 on Saturday.
Chris Griffin had a strong outing on Thursday with the bat, hitting 3-for-3 with a double, a run and two RBIs. Hunter Ackerman had two runs and a stolen base, and David Anderson batted 2-for-4 with a double and a run driven in.
Grace's offense was quiet in the doubleheader, being limited to five hits in the two games.
Ike Peterson was strong in relief in the first game, allowing one earned run to score in three innings with two hits.
