WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Grace's women's tennis team kept its perfect start intact with a 7-0 drubbing of Manchester on Thursday.
The Lady Lancers (4-0) only dropped seven games across the afternoon in an impressive performance.
In doubles' play, Grace only lost one game against the Spartans (0-2). Emily Mast and Morgan Mast formed a dominant sisters' squad, winning 6-1 at No. 1 doubles.
Carrie Copeland and Dayana Ortega at No. 2 doubles and Shelby Bankson and Gretchen Adams at No. 3 each won 6-0.
In singles' play, Ortega (No. 2), Armstrong (No. 3) and Bankson (No. 5) cruised to 6-0, 6-0 victories. Morgan Mast (No. 4) and Emily Mast (No. 1) were nearly as efficient with a pair of 6-1, 6-0 wins.
Adams completed the sweep with a 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 6 singles.
The Lady Lancers end the week at Mt. Vernon Nazarene on Saturday.
