MARION, Ind. - The Crossroads League regular season concluded on Wednesday for Grace's women's tennis team.

The Lady Lancers lost 7-0 to Indiana Wesleyan in the morning match before beating Huntington 5-2 in the second half of the doubleheader.

Grace (6-2, 6-2 CL) will likely finish third in the league; the Crossroads League Tournament begins on Tuesday, meaning Grace is guaranteed at least one home match in the quarterfinals.

Against Huntington, Grace got off to a good start in doubles. Jayna Armstrong and Dayana Ortega blanked their opponent at No. 1 doubles (6-0), and Anna Graves and Kiersten Martin also shut out their opponent at No. 3.

Ortega battled to a tough three-set win at No. 2 singles, and Morgan Mast clawed to a 6-3, 7-6 (6) win at No. 5.

Lauryn Riegsecker claimed a 6-0, 6-3 victory at No. 6 singles, and Graves was victorious 6-2, 6-3 at No. 4.

The Lady Lancers will travel to Calvin on Friday and Cornerstone on Saturday for nonleague matches. Grace will also host Concordia on Monday at 2 p.m.
