WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Grace's women's tennis team earned its third straight win thanks to a 7-0 sweep of Concordia on Monday.
The Lady Lancers will enter this week's Crossroads League Tournament with a sterling 10-2 record (6-2 CL).
Grace earned the No. 3 seed in the tourney and will host Bethel on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. The semifinals will be played Thursday with the championship scheduled for Saturday.
Anna Graves and Ellie Hughes each earned two points for Grace on Monday. Graves teamed up with Dayana Ortega to win 6-0 at No. 1 doubles, and she also won 6-2, 6-2 at No. 2 singles.
Hughes cruised 6-3, 6-0 at No. 3 singles and also combined with Gretchen Adams to win 6-1 at No. 2 doubles.
Addy Jarvis and Rachel Bognar blanked their opponent at No. 3 doubles to complete the doubles' round.
Jayna Armstrong (No. 1), Morgan Mast (No. 4), Lauryn Riegsecker (No. 5) and Kiersten Martin (No. 6) all won in straight sets during singles' play.
