ZIONSVILLE, Ind. - Grace's women's tennis team was tripped up by IU East on Friday by the score of 4-3.

The Red Wolves claimed an early advantage by winning the overall doubles' point. 

The Lady Lancers tried to battle back in singles but came up short. Dayana Ortega won at No. 1 singles' victory by rallying from behind (1-6, 6-4, 1-0).

Anna Graves cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles, and Ellie Hughes also won handily at No. 6 (6-1, 6-2).

But the Red Wolves claimed a win at No. 2, 4 and 5 singles to secure the 4-3 team win.

The Lady Lancers will travel to South Bend to face off with Holy Cross on Wednesday.
