FT. WAYNE, Ind. - Less than twenty-four hours after suffering their first loss of the season, the Lancers were back on the court in Crossroads League action. Grace swept by Mount Vernon Nazarene 6-0 in a make-up match from one postponed because of excessive heat. The contest was played at Swinney Park in Ft. Wayne.
Kye Barrett and
Milan Savic captured No. 1 doubles by a 6-3 score, quickly followed by
Jacob Gray and
Nicolas Graber winning at No. 2 doubles 6-1.
Only four singles matches were completed to confirm the win for Grace.
Francisco Margaria played at the No. 1 spot and won 6-1, 6-4.
Ivan Antinori won 6-1, 6-0 at No.2 and Barrett cruised to a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 3. In the other completed match, Graber won 6-0, 6-2 at the No. 5 position.
The Lancers (7-1, 6-1 CL) play a pair of non-conference matches on Friday, followed by the final regular-season League match at Marian on Saturday.
