WINONA LAKE, Ind. - For the fourth time this season, Grace's women's tennis team registered a 7-0 sweep. The Lancers defeated IU Kokomo on Monday afternoon at the Don Cramer Tennis Courts.
Grace (6-2) bounced back after dropping its previous match to get back in the win column. The Lancers were dominant from top to bottom, taking every possible point from the Cougars. It marks the sixth straight win against IU Kokomo, dating back to the 2017-18 season.Â
The Lancers picked up the doubles point to gain the early momentum. All three pairings won with ease.Â
Anna Graves and
Lydia Ruegsegger blanked their opponent 6-0 to get the match started.
Jimena Ramirez and
Alejandra Sandoval dropped just one game on their way to clinching the point. Molli Runested and

Singles play went in favor of the home team just as doubles action did. Martin got the ball rolling without dropping a game to win 6-0, 6-0. From there,
Anna Graves tacked on another point in straight sets at the No. 2 slot.Â
The next point came from Ruegsegger in the No. 3 position.
