WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Grace's men's basketball team continues to lead the country in Wednesday's NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Poll.
The Lancers held firm at No. 1 in the poll after racing off to a 20-0 start this season. Grace has been ranked No. 1 for four consecutive polls, a stretch of 64 days.
Grace has beaten eight teams this year in the RPI top 40, including four teams in the top 20.Â
The Lancers face a stiff test on Wednesday night with a game at No. 5 Indiana Wesleyan. The Lancers (No. 1) and the Wildcats (No. 2) are the top-two teams currently in the RPI, a key rating criteria in the NAIA's tournament selection process.
Grace leads the NAIA in assists per game (21.3), is third in rebounds (45.0), third in opponents' field goal percentage (38.2), fourth in scoring (91.5) and fifth in blocks (5.0).
The next home game for Grace is Saturday, Feb. 10 against Goshen.
