SURPRISE, Ariz. - Grace's women's tennis team capped off a memorable week in Arizona with a win on Friday.
The Lancers (9-5) beat Ottawa 6-1 to end their trip out west.
The doubles' point went to Grace. Geraldine Salinas and Alejandra Sandoval won 6-1 at No. 2 doubles. Grace also won at No. 3 doubles by default.
During singles' play, Sandoval was perfect with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 4. Kiersten Martin nearly matched that with a 6-0, 6-1 victory at No. 5.
Salinas earned a win at No. 3 singles, and Jimena Ramirez cruised 6-1, 6-2 at No. 1 singles.
Grace also played three matches against community colleges during the week, winning each exhibition handily.
The Lancers' next scheduled match is March 23 at DePauw.
