CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Grace's women's tennis team wrapped up its trip to Ohio with a 5-2 win over Lawrence Tech on Saturday.
The Lancers were dominant, winning seven of the nine matchups across singles and doubles.
Grace began the day by claiming all three doubles' courts. Landry Schrock and Lauren Harris had the cleanest win (6-3) at No. 3 doubles.
Jimena Ramirez and Faith Valentine battled to a narrow 7-5 victory at No. 1 doubles, and Molli Runestad and Shannon Brumbaugh also won by the same score at No. 2.
Ramirez was a quick winner at the top singles' court (6-1, 6-2), and Valentine won identically at No. 2.
Runestad was dominant in a straight sets win at No. 5 singles, and Brumbaugh also collected her second win of the day at No. 6.
Grace is scheduled to play at home twice next week, including Saint Mary's on Wednesday and Ferris State on Saturday.
