GOSHEN, Ind. - Grace's women's soccer team collected its third straight shutout victory of the season on Saturday.

The No. 17 Lancers handled Goshen 3-0, improving to 12-2-2 overall and 5-2 in the Crossroads League.

Grace has just two matches remaining in the regular season, traveling to Mt. Vernon Nazarene on Oct. 25 and playing at home Oct. 29 versus Taylor.

Saturday's match was a domination offensively for Grace; the Lancers held a stunning 50-1 shot advantage and took all 15 corner kicks in the contest.

Grace racked up 23 shots in the first half alone, keeping the Maple Leafs pinned into their end of the field.

The Lancers immediately asserted themselves in the first half. Grace peppered Goshen's goal with eight shot attempts over the first 15 minutes.

Two of Grace's early shots glanced off the crossbar, including efforts from Ellie Grieser and Abby Hodkin.

In the 31st minute, Grace penetrated Goshen's goal. Nora Pollock set up Cassidy Felger for the go-ahead goal.

The Lancers were unable to add to their tally before halftime despite another shot denied by the crossbar in the 44th minute by Heidi Kever.

Grace led 1-0 while owning a 23-1 shot advantage in the first half.

The second half was much of the same. In the second half, however, Goshen was unable to find a shot while Grace struck two past the goalkeeper.

The Lancers had four shots saved by the keeper in the first 11 minutes and three other shots that were off target, continuing the pressure on the Maple Leafs' goal.

The Lancers doubled their lead in the 57th minute. Audrey Abel had a shot saved from the right edge of the penalty box. Nora Pollock pounced on the loose ball and pushed it into the net.

Grace was relentless attacking Goshen and practically lived in the Maple Leafs' end of the field.

Grace generated a third goal with seven minutes remaining. Grieser was fouled in the penalty box; she took the ensuing penalty kick and rifled her attempt into the corner of the net.
