WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Grace's men's tennis team came up short against NCAA Div. II opponent Ferris State on Saturday.
The Lancers put up a battle but lost 7-0 at the Don Cramer Tennis Courts.
Grace nearly produced a win at the top doubles' court. Benjamin Rahine and Mahefa Rakotomalala lost 7-6 (7-2) at No. 1 doubles.
In singles' play, Rahine won the first set at No. 1 singles before ultimately having to retire in the third set.
Rakotomalala also took his opponent at No. 4 singles to three sets before losing in a super set.
The Lancers have one match remaining in the fall, taking on Grand Valley State in Michigan on Friday.
