FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Grace College's women's basketball team fell to No. 7 St. Francis on Saturday afternoon.
The Lancers (5-3, 0-2 Crossroads League) struggled to keep pace offensively, dropping the Crossroads League contest 119-46.

Morganne Houk started the game with a 3-point shot but USF answered right back. The Cougars offense was red hot in the opening quarter, as they poured in 40 points.
Houk had five more unanswered points for the Lancers and
Emma Sperry added a trifecta but Grace couldn't keep up with a Cougars team that missed only four shots in the opening frame. At the quarter break USF led 40-17.
Kate Thomas started the scoring in the second frame but USF's offense continued to roll. Braylin Terrel scored and Paula Fernadez added a free throw at the middle of the frame.
Sperry hit a pair of shots from beyond the arc and Terrell scored in the waning second just before the half to push the Lancers total to 32. Grace trailed 59-32 at the half.
The Cougars continued to light up the scoreboard in the second half, scoring 30 points in the third and fourth quarter. Meanwhile Grace struggled to find offensive consistency, being held to single digits in each frame. Sperry had seven points in the second half.
Grace finished the game shooting 25 percent from the field and committed 27 turnovers. USF shot 60 percent from the field and hit 16 3-point field goals.
Grace will be back in action on Tuesday as they take on IU Columbus at 5:30 p.m.
