COLUMBUS, Ind. - Grace's men's basketball team topped 100 points again on Tuesday night.
The No. 4 Lancers took care of IU Columbus, winning 105-70 to continue their unbeaten season.
Grace, now 8-0 on the season, scored over 100 points for fourth time in eight games this year.
Offense was slow to begin Tuesday's game as each team came up empty on its first two possessions. Grace began the scoring with a 5-0 spurt, but the Lancers needed more than three minutes to score again.
The Lancers' bench helped jolt the team to life as 3-pointers from Cannen Houser, Luke Bricker and Michael Wellman gave Grace momentum.
Midway into the half, Grace used an 11-0 run to charge ahead by 15 at 31-16.
The Lancers opened up their first 20-point edge with three minutes remaining in the first half, and Grace strolled into halftime with a comfortable 51-29 lead.
Grace shot 45 percent from the floor before halftime; the Pride were muted to just 28 percent shooting.
To begin the second half, the Lancers went to work building their margin. In the early minutes, Grace erupted on a 13-1 run to sprint ahead by 32. Houser scored five points during the run, and Tyler Raasch added four points.
Grace wasted little time utilizing its bench to close out the game. Grace's starters began to be removed from the game a few minutes into the second half.
The Lancers' bench continued to keep Grace's lead near 30 throughout the second half.Â
Isaac Schultz exploded in the final nine minutes of the game. He racked up 17 points while making 7 of 7 from the floor. Schultz scored Grace's final nine points of the game, doing so in the last 2:17 of regulation.
Schultz's 17 points were a team-high; he added 1 assists, 1 steal and 1 rebound in his time off the bench.
Bricker amassed 15 points (5 of 6 shooting), 4 assists, 3 rebounds, 1 block and 1 steal, and Gavin Betten notched 12 points, 6 boards, 3 blocks and 3 steals.
Wellman scored 12 points with three rebounds, and Tyler Raasch had 8 points, 5 blocked shots and 3 boards.
Gage Sefton posted 10 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists, and Ian Raasch had 9 points, 8 boards and 2 assists.
Hunter Walston produced 4 points, 7 assists, 3 steals and 4 rebounds, Houser had 8 points, 4 assists, 2 boards and a block, and Cole Hayworth scored eight points.
Grace finished the game shooting 58 percent from the floor and 36 percent on 3-pointers. IUC shot 36 percent overall.
The Lancers will take their unbeaten record back into Crossroads League action next week. Grace will host Huntington on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 7:30 p.m. (after the women's game). The week will end on Saturday at Spring Arbor.
