JACKSON, Mich. - The men's bowling squad from Grace had a sterling showing at the Scotty Classic on Saturday.
The men placed in the top half of the field, grabbing sixth place out of 14 teams. The team finished with 5,125 pins.
Curtis Payne impressed with a top-10 showing. He racked up 659 pins for an average of 19.7 per game, finishing eighth out of 109 bowlers.
Corbin Payne finished 22nd overall with an average game of 208. He erupted in his final game with a 254.
Nick Ransbottom was consistent for his 201 average, finishing within 12 pins of his score each time.
