UPLAND, Ind. - The 2025 Crossroads League Indoor Championships concluded on Saturday for Grace's track and field team.
The Lancers picked up multiple All-League finishes, four NAIA qualifying marks and a new school record.
Overall, Grace's men finished fifth out of 10 teams, while the women placed sixth.
Kylie Sauder hit two NAIA standards on Saturday. She hit an "A" standard in the mile when she placed second (4:55.93). Sauder became the first woman in team history to race an under-5:00 mile. Her school record beat out Heather Plastow's previous mark of 5:00.43 (2023).
Sauder was also runner-up in the 800 with a "B" time of 2:18.39.
Brady Hunsberger was third in the men's mile (4:15.80), hitting an NAIA "B" standard.
Brandon Kleber was part of a blazingly fast 3,000 race; he finished fourth with an NAIA "A" time of 8:25.70. The top-four finishers all ran faster than the previous conference indoor record.
Esther Cameron earned a runner-up finish in the 3,000, crossing the finish line in 10:13.70.
Michael Muiruri leapt 44-feet-2 in the triple jump to finish third, and Cole Johnston had a fourth-place finish in the 5,000 (15:35.00).
Zoe Huley ran the 200 in 26.93 seconds to place seventh. She also teamed up with Olivia Adkins, Morgan Welch and Cadence Manning to collect sixth place in the 4x400 relay (4:09.14).
Welch was also eighth in the 1,000 (3:06.80), and Carter Clear was seventh in the 800 (1:57.85).
In the men's 1,000, Hunsberger (2:37.67) and Caleb Nichols (2:38.38) finished seventh and eighth respectively.
The men's 4x400 foursome of Hunsberger, Ty McPhatter, Clear and Caleb Nichols ended up in seventh place (3:32.78).
Emily McCreary produced sixth in the high jump when she cleared 5-foot-3, and Brock Lengacher had a sixth-place showing in the shot put (43-5).
The Lancers will wrap up the indoor season at the NAIA National Championships, hosted in Gainesville, Fla., from Feb. 27 to March 1.
