WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Grace's volleyball team won its final match on the final day of the Keiser Tournament on Friday.

The Lancers (5-3) fell to Southeastern in the morning's match but ended the tourney by beating the hosts Keiser. It's the second straight tournament that Grace has beat the host school in the team's final match.

Grace began the day with a match against unbeaten Southeastern. The Lancers began well with an impressive offensive performance. The first set saw Grace rack up 16 kills with two errors (.400 hitting percentage).

Grace won the opener 25-17, benefiting from five kills by Olivia Martinez and four apiece from Livia Tate and Levyn Snow.

The second set was fiercely fought; the Fire made enough plays late to squeeze out a 25-23 victory.

The Lancers struggled to match Southeastern over the next two sets, falling 25-19 and 25-14 to end the contest.

Carsyn Witt produced a big double-double with 33 assists and 24 digs, adding a pair of block assists as well. Martinez had 23 digs with seven kills, and Anna Elkin added 7 kills, 3 aces and 15 digs.

The first set saw Grace hold a 17-15 lead. The Lancers then sprinted away, closing the set on an 8-1 run to win by nine.

The Lancers trailed for much of the second set. Grace found itself behind 17-11 after a Keiser service ace but showed signs of life with quick kills from Leah Henderson, Snow and Callie Jo Celichowski.

Later, Elkin had a kill and an ace to help Grace even the score at 21s. The teams traded points, leading to another even score at 23-23.

After a Grace timeout, Snow produced a thunderous kill to push Grace ahead, and Tate wrapped up the set win with a service ace (25-23).

Midway into the third set, Grace unleashed a furious 11-3 run to claim momentum. The Lancers led by seven and coasted to the final 25-18 win, completing the sweep of the hosts.

Celichowski was a force with four solo blocks and five block assists, adding four kills. Henderson led Grace's attack with eight kills on a .316 percentage, Snow had seven kills with three block assists, and Martinez added five kills and four block assists.
