Raasch named NCCAA Player of the Year, Moore takes Coach of the Year

WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Grace's men's basketball team earned a pair of major awards on Thursday.

Ian Raasch was named the NCCAA National Player of the Year, marking the third straight year that Grace has won the National Player of the Year honor.

Scott Moore was named the NCCAA National Coach of the Year for the third straight year as well.

Raasch helped lead Grace to a 31-4 record and a trip to the NAIA's Elite Eight for the third consecutive year. Grace won the regular season championship for the Crossroads League for the fourth straight time; the team also won the postseason league tournament for the fifth time in a row.

Raasch posted 14.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.0 steal per game, doing so while playing lockdown defense. He shot 59 percent overall from the floor and 45 percent on 3-pointers.

Raasch was a First Team All-League honoree as well as a member of the league's All-Defensive Team.

The Lancers have won four of the past five National Player of the Year awards from the NCCAA; Raasch follows the footsteps of Grace's recent winners: Frankie Davidson (2022), Elijah Malone (2024) and Ian Scott (2025).

Moore's NCCAA Coach of the Year award is the fourth of his career, winning the award in each of the past three years.
