Women's Golf

Lancers Compete at Bandy Invitational

PAGE, Ariz. - Grace College's women's golf team traveled to Arizona to partake in the Bandy Invitational at the Lake Powell National Golf Course.

The Lancers took fourth place in the tournament, topping College of Idaho and Simpson.

Kiley Standring and Camille Short tied for an 11th place finish with total marks of 158. Standring shot 79 in both rounds while Short saw a 10-shot improvement closing out her performance with a mark 0f 74 over the final 18 holes.

Grace Beerman shot 82 in both rounds to claim a top-25 finish and Lexi Kelley shot 80 in the first round on her way to a mark of 169, good for 30th.

Trinity Bramer also made tremendous strides in round two, cutting her score by 10 strokes to close out her showing with a total of 172. Brette Hanavan tied for a team low of 80 in the first round before withdrawing. 

Next on the schedule for the Lancers is the LTU Spring Shootout on Monday.
