WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Reagan Owens of Grace's volleyball team earned an award after the first weekend of the season.

Owens was named the Crossroads League Defender of the Week, given out during the league's first series of weekly awards this year.

The sophomore, playing as the team's libero for the first weekend, averaged over four digs per set. She recorded double-digit digs in every match.

Her efforts helped propel the Lancers to three wins during the opening weekend.
