WINONA LAKE, Ind. - The Grace College athletic department is pleased to announce the newest members of the Lancer Hall of Fame.
The 2026 induction class will include: Bob Gault, Aubrey Alcorn (Evans), Carianne Bricker (Sobey), Allison Kauffman and Nate Wottring.
The group will be the 20th class in the Grace Athletics Hall of Fame. They will be honored at the annual Hall of Fame breakfast on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center.
"It's exciting to honor Grace's rich athletic history," said Grace Director of Athletics Chad Briscoe. "This is an accomplished group of people who have added much to Grace Athletics. They deserve to be recognized for their contributions to our institution."
Gault was a standout from the early days of Grace men's soccer. He played from 1971-74 and was a phenomenal goal scorer. He racked up 59 career goals, which still ranks No. 2 all-time in team history. His 135 career points is third-highest tally by a Lancer.
Alcorn was an All-American midfielder on Grace's women's soccer team from 2004-07. She was a pivotal piece to Grace's foundation, also serving as a longtime assistant coach. She earned NCCAA First Team All-American status in 2007 and was named to the NAIA All-Region Team.
Bricker was another standout midfielder on the women's soccer team. She played from 2012-15 and is the program's career assists leader with 42. She was named the Crossroads League's Midfielder of the Year three times. She was also a three-time NAIA All-American and a three-time NCCAA All-American.
Kauffman was a standout forward for Grace's women's basketball team from 2011-15. She ranks in the top-10 in career points, rebounds, blocks and free throw percentage. Twice she earned honorable mention status for NAIA All-American, and she earned three NCCAA All-American nods as well.
Wottring was one of the most prolific offensive players in Grace baseball history. He played from 2008-12 and is still the program's career hits king with 208 hits. The First Team All-League standout graduated as Grace's all-time doubles' leader and still ranks in the top-10 for career batting average, runs and RBIs.
"We want to thank those individuals who have brought much distinction and honor to Grace College and have established a tradition of Christian excellence which is incomparable," Briscoe continued. "These achievements have touched everyone associated with Grace College both in and out of the arena of athletics."
