Grace collects Crossroads League SID of the Year honor

WINONA LAKE, Ind. – Grace College's athletic communications staff was honored this week as the 2025-26 Crossroads League SID Staff of the Year.

The staff of Josh Neuhart, Grant Cook and Adam Basinger has now received the honor four times, the most by any institution in Crossroads League history.

The annual award recognizes excellence in athletic communications, including game operations, statistics, storytelling, photography, video production, social media, website management and promotion of student-athletes and athletic programs throughout the year.

"This award is a direct reflection of the incredible leadership that Josh and his staff provide at Grace College each day. Josh's and his staff's humble approach to serving our coaches, athletes, fans and alumni are evident throughout the year," said Grace Director of Athletics Chad Briscoe. "Josh Neuhart, Grant Cook, Adam Basinger and their student staff do a tremendous job of telling the Grace story while serving in a variety of ways throughout the year. Their approach to working each day with Christian excellence impacts our campus, community and many athletic events."

The SID staff oversaw coverage of 390 athletic events during the year, including 127 home games. The team also handled media coverage for multiple postseason contests, including a trio of NAIA Opening Round tournaments at home.

More than 430 articles were posted on Grace's athletic website (www.gclancers.com). The website was ranked No. 3 in the NAIA this summer, marking the 10th straight year of being a top-10 site in the country.

The broadcasts on the Grace Sports Network were seen by more than 16,000 viewers and included nearly 9,000 hours of watch time.

"The Crossroads League is filled with outstanding sports information professionals, so to be recognized by that group is incredibly humbling," said Neuhart. "I'm grateful to Chad Briscoe, Dr. Drew Flamm and our administration for their continued support of our office. This recognition reflects our entire staff—Adam Basinger, Grant Cook, our gameday staff and our student workers—who do an incredible job serving our coaches, student-athletes and fans each day. I'm thankful to work alongside such a dedicated, mission-minded group of people."

Student-workers in the SID office from the past year include: Brennan Darr, Luke Nier, Caleb Petgen, Andrew Johns, Nolan Hendricks, Jackson Killinger, Zach Conrades, Aubrey Rizek, Jaxin Dawson, Bethany Toms, Bekah Nofziger, Jackson Geiger and Abby Yoder.
