WINONA LAKE, Ind. - Reagan Owens of Grace's volleyball team secured a national honor on Monday.

The sophomore was named the NCCAA National Defensive Player of the Week after leading the Lancers' defensively last week.

Owens played a key role in Grace's 5-0 week. She had at least 19 digs in every match she played as libero, serving as a substitute in Grace's final match of the week. She had a 93.8 serve receive percentage as well.

The Lancers are off to a sizzling start. Grace (14-2) has won 11 straight matches, marking the fifth-longest winning streak in program history.

Grace will play at home on Wednesday with a 7 p.m. battle with No. 23 Spring Arbor.
