2016 SOPHOMORE – A versatile member of Grace’s lineup, contributing in almost every facet … hit 2-for-3 against Indiana Wesleyan … had two hits against Goshen … drove in a run in consecutive games against Oakland City and St. Thomas … plated two runs against Marian … scored a run in both games of a doubleheader against Taylor … had three hits and two runs combined in a doubleheader against Marian … tripled and scored a run against Cincinnati-Clermont … impressed with limited action on the mound … threw 2.1 scoreless innings of relief to get the win against Hiwassee.
2015 FRESHMAN – Made 16 starts in first season and played in 31 games … posted a 5.40 ERA in five appearances from the mound, the lowest ERA among returners … recorded first collegiate hit against Hiwassee, driving in a run in the game as well … went 2-for-3 with two runs scored against Presentation … doubled against Spring Arbor … drove in two runs against Huntington … hit safely in back-to-back games against Indiana Wesleyan, including a 2-for-3 performance … had a pinch-hit single and scored a run against Mt. Vernon … ended the season by pitching two innings against St. Francis without allowing an earned run … allowed one hit and no runs in an inning against Marian.
PREP – Played with twin brother Chase on successful Clear Fork (Ohio) High School squad … helped Clear Fork to an 18-8 record as a junior … named All-Ohio Cardinal Conference Team in 2013 … posted a 1.87 ERA from the mound as a junior, leading the team in strikeouts and wins … tossed a complete-game no-hitter during the year, batting .408 from the plate as well … picked up honorable mention honors for Mansfield News Journal All-Area in 2013.
