Adam Augustine returns to Grace’s coaching staff for the 2014-15 season. Augustine will work primarily with Grace’s pitchers on Coach Barr’s staff.
Augustine had a stellar playing career while attending Manchester College. At Manchester he was a part of one regular season Heartland Conference Championship (2004), three conference tournament championships (2002, 2004, 2005), and one regional championship (2004), which gave them a birth into the 2004 NCAA Div. III College World Series.
In 2005, he was named to the NCAA Division III All-American Baseball Team, Mideast Regional Pitcher of the Year, and was a member of the All-Region Team.
Augustine worked with a number of outstanding Lancer pitchers in his previous stint with the Lancers, including Michael Clark. Clark graduated No. 2 for Grace in career strikeouts, No. 1 in career innings pitched and No. 4 in career wins.
Augustine is a 2005 graduate of Manchester College where he earned a B.S. in Exercise Science. He currently lives in Winona Lake, Ind., with his wife, Elizabeth.
