Justin Love joins Grace's baseball staff for his ninth season in 2025-26.
Love was a four-year starter at Ball State University. He established the Cardinals' single-season stolen base record in 1997 with 44 steals, leading the Mid-American Conference and helping him earn a spot on the All-Conference Team. He stole five bases in five tries against Eastern Michigan to set a school record. Overall for his junior year he had 71 hits and 67 runs in 59 games, hitting .346.
As a senior in 1998, he had 30 stolen bases to rank second in the MAC. He led the conference with 62 runs scored and was sixth with 120 total bases. He was a First Team All-MAC selection as a senior and was 10th in the conference with nine home runs and batted .344 in 57 games.
He was an accomplished athlete at Northridge, earning a spot in the Elkhart County Hall of Fame. He was a two-time All-NLC selection and won All-State, All-Regional and All-Sectional recognition in 1994. Love set the school records for stolen bases, runs, walks and triples.
As a football player at Northridge, Love was a three-time All-Northern Lakes Conference honoree, earning 3A All-State honors in 1993. He set the school record for receiving yards, receptions, interceptions and scoring and was invited to the Indiana North-South All-Star Game.
