Michael Inman has been chosen to be the head coach for Grace College’s esports program, starting in the fall of 2021.
Inman is one of Grace’s first esports alumni, competing for the Lancers last year as he concluded his undergraduate degree.
“I am excited for the opportunity to coach Grace College’s esports teams and help grow the program,” Inman said. “Our players will work hard to compete for championships with Christ-like integrity, and we are excited to represent the school and the Lord with this platform.”
Inman excelled for Grace last year. In his only season competing for Grace, he was named the Rookie of the Week for the ECAC in February.
The Lancers competed in both the ECAC and the GLEC collegiately last year. Inman helped Grace earn a spot in the ECAC Tournament during the spring.
“We are excited to welcome Michael to our coaching staff,” said Grace Director of Athletics Chad Briscoe. “We look forward to his leadership in growing the esports program.”
