Collin Cone will begin his third season as an assistant coach for the Lancers in 2017. He is central to Grace's recruiting efforts and specializes in work with the goalkeepers. Cone is far from a stranger to Grace after concluding a standout goalkeeping career in 2012.

As a senior, Cone posted seven shutouts in the regular season to propel the Lancers to a third-place finish in the Crossroads League. He was named to the All-League Team for his efforts.

On Oct. 4 of Cone's junior year, he was honored nationally as the NAIA National Defensive Player of the Week. He shut out two league opponents, including a 1-0 victory over Indiana Wesleyan, who was receiving votes in the NAIA poll. Although Grace was playing a man down, Cone's four saves helped secure a win over the Wildcats for the first time in eight years.

He also won three other Player of the Week honors for the Crossroads League.

The Lancers advanced to two straight NCCAA National Championships during Cone's final two seasons, marking Grace's first back-to-back appearances since 1982-83.

Overall, Cone registered a 23-16-7 mark in goal for the Lancers. He made 203 saves in three seasons and had 15 shutouts in his three-year career.
