2017 JUNIOR - Picked up first national honor as an NCCAA Second Team All-American … was named the league’s Defensive Player of the Week four times (Nov. 13, Oct. 30, Oct. 17, Oct. 3) … named NCCAA Defensive Player of the Week on Sept. 25 … made 11 saves at No. 21 Spring Arbor in the Crossroads League Tournament championship game, helping Grace win a league title for the first time since 1982 … made eight saves against Goshen to preserve a 1-0 victory … had 11 saves in a win over St. Francis … made six crucial saves in a 1-0 double overtime win at Ohio Christian, saving a penalty kick in the 71st minute to keep the game scoreless in regulation … had six saves in a 2OT draw with Northwestern, who was receiving votes in the NAIA … played every second of the season as Grace’s goalkeeper, picking up 13 victories … recorded seven shutouts for the year.
2016 SOPHOMORE - Protected the net in goal for the Lancers … started nine times, came off the bench on three occasions … saved 30 shots, allowed eight … compiled a 3-2-1 record … earned seven saves against Harris-Stowe State … had a complete match shutout against Saint Francis.
2015 FRESHMAN - Did not play.
PREP - A four-year starter for Bethel High School (Ohio) … started his last three seasons as the team’s goalkeeper … posted a 0.92 goals against average with 24 shutouts in three years as goalie … earned Second Team All-State and All-Area recognition as a senior … advanced to the district finals as a midfielder during his freshman year … also played on the football, basketball and baseball teams at Bethel … the brother of Grace senior forward Kyle Hamlin … was the class salutatorian.
