Scott Freds enters his first year as a volunteer assistant coach with the Lancers. Scott is a former assistant and head coach with Warsaw High School. The Tigers saw big improvements under his direction and leadership.

Head Coach Amanda Jones stated: “I am happy to bring Scott on to the staff this year as he brings a balance of seriousness but can also be fun with the players. Scott will be with the outfield group this season and I am excited to see what developments he can make with them out there. His experience in coaching is valuable as well and has been a great sounding board for me as a new head coach.”

Scott currently works at Zimmer Biomet and lives locally in the area with his wife Shelia. They have two grown kids and are proud grandparents.
