Grace College Athletics

Jordan Cone returns to Grace College for his first season as an assistant for the Lady Lancers. Cone was a four-year player on the men’s soccer team from 2004-07.

Cone led the Lancers in both goals (7) and assists (5) as a junior forward, earning All-Conference accolades in the process. He also paced Grace with four assists during his senior campaign. He graduated with a degree in PE and health in 2008.

Cone, who was a missionary kid growing up, spent much of his childhood in Africa – in Zaire, Central African Republic and Cameroon. He attended the Rain Forest International School in Cameroon.

After Grace, Cone returned to Rain Forest as a missionary with his wife Tirza. Cone serves as the school’s athletic director, PE teacher and soccer coach. He enjoys working with nationals and missionary kids at Rain Forest with coaching being a highlight.

Cone is back for the year on furlough and hopes to return to Cameroon in June. Jordan and Tirza have two kids, Lina (6) and Luca (4), with a third one on the way.
