Grace College Athletics

Josh Deardorff is set for his second year on the staff of Grace’s women’s soccer team in 2018. He graduated from Grace in December 2012 with a degree in business management.He then went on to earn his Master’s degree in 2015 from Western Governors University with a major in Elementary Education. 

After his high school soccer career, Deardorff joined the United States Marine Corps where he served for six years. After a deployment to Afghanistan in 2010, he returned to Grace to finish his degree.

After graduating from Grace, Deardorff coached at the Kosciusko County Soccer League before taking a coaching position at Lakeland Christian Academy. Deardorff spent a year leading the junior high program before taking the varsity position in 2013.

Deardorff moved to Hawaii in 2014 where he spent three years teaching 6-12th grade at Lanakila Baptist School. He was hired in January 2017 to start a Christian school in Clarion, Penn., which opened its doors in August 2017.

Deardorff is excited to join the Grace coaching staff and contribute to the program’s success. Josh and his wife, Tracie, live in Leesburg, Ind.
